Welcome to First Missionary Baptist Church of Elm City! We are a church rooted in history, strengthened by faith, and driven by purpose. Since the early 1900s, our congregation has stood as one of the first Black churches established in Wilson County NC, serving as a beacon of hope, worship, unity, and perseverance for generations of believers.
Through every season, God has remained faithful. We have endured storms, overcome trials, celebrated victories, and witnessed the power of God move throughout our church family and community. Our history is not simply a story of survival, but it is a testimony of grace, resilience, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.

As a body of believers, First Missionary Baptist Church of Elm City (FMBC Elm City) is committed to faithfully serving God as a chosen vessel in our community.
